Got hay Fever? One of these plants is responsible for it and the other often gets blamed!
It’s all about the pollination. The beautiful Goldenrod on the left has flowers to attract its insect pollinators. The inconspicuous Ragweed on the right is wind pollinated; the tiny nearly invisible grains of pollen fill the air with even the tiniest air movement. They grow in the same conditions
and mature at the same time. The Goldenrod is what we notice.
