Algonquin Boosters Tennis will hold the First Annual McCurdy Tennis Tournament on Sunday, June 13 and June 20. The tournament, which is open to all ages and skill levels, is named in honor of former Algonquin girls tennis coach Jan McCurdy who passed away from cancer last year. Kids in Southborough celebrated St. Patrick’s Day a bit early this year with a party on Monday sponsored by the Friends of Southborough Recreation. In addition to craft projects and cookie making, the Friends also raised funds for Smile Train, an organization that funds surgery for kids in developing countries to repair cleft lips and palettes.
