According to this story in the Metrowest Daily News, a burglar broke into Pilgrim Church on Sunday night and made off with a mere $7 in cash and a $25 Starbucks gift card. “If the person wanted coffee, we offer hot coffee every Sunday after our services,” said the Rev. Jon Wortmann.
Collection money from services earlier in the day had already been taken to the bank. The bad news is the intruder caused about $1000 worth of damage. Police are investigating.
