Cubs win the world series … the Southborough Cubs, that is

The hopes of the Chicago Cubs may have been dashed, but for the Southborough Cubs, it was another story entirely.

In the Metrowest Adult Baseball League’s best of three championship series, the Southborough Cubs took both games of a double-header against the Framingham Orioles on Sunday to win the title.

Congrats to the Cubies!
