I posted previously about the soccer equipment drive sponsored by Girl Scout Troop 2784 and Southborough Youth Soccer to benefit Grassroots Soccer. This article in the Metrowest Daily News offers some more details.
In particular, the Girl Scouts are looking for uniform shirts, shorts, socks, cleats and soccer balls in good condition. SYSA recently replaced its soccer uniforms and is donating its old ones to Grassroot Soccer.
Look for collection bins at churches, the library, the transfer station and soccer fields through Saturday, October 18.
