The Community Advocate this week has a story on the search for a new principal for Algonquin. As reported previously, current principal Ned Gallagher’s contract was not renewed for the 2009-2010 school year.
Step one for Superintendent Charles Gobron is coming up with a list qualities he’s looking for in a new principal. Gobron is seeking input from teachers, administrators, parents, and students. A search committee is also being formed.
The article includes plenty of back-and-forth between Gobron and Gallagher. Something tells me they’re not parting the best of friends.
