Fay isn’t the only school expanding their campus in Southborough. St. Mark’s got in on the action this summer with the completion of new faculty housing skirting Barber field near the intersection of Rte 85 and School St. The six new townhouses, costing a total of $4.7 million, were constructed with an emphasis on sustainability.
From the St. Mark’s website:
Virtually everything that went into these townhouses was chosen for its lack of environmental impact -from site selection, to the interior and exterior paints, countertops, bamboo floors, heating and air conditioning units, to the using TOTO toilets which will save 19,000 gallons of water a year.
