An Algonquin student play about … underpants

It’s probably not as risqué as it sounds, but Algonquin students will perform The Underpants, a Steve Martin adaptation of the German farce Die Hose by Carl Sternheim. From the Google Book page for The Underpants:

Theobald Maske is mortified that his wife cannot seem to find a pair of underpants that will stay on and is determined to keep her at home until she can find something will not cause a public scandal, while, at the same time, he is trying to rent out a room in their flat, in a hilarious new play by the author of Pure Drivel.

Show times are tonight, Friday, and Saturday at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $5. The performance will take place in Algonquin’s Small Performance Theater, so seating is limited.
