Registration is open now through 12/5 for the Northborough-Southborough Youth Lacrosse Association’s spring 2009 season. Leagues are available for boys in grades 2 through 8. Practices start in March, with games beginning in April.

I learned to play lacrosse at St. Mark’s, starting in 1955 – their very first lacrosse team. I went on to Colorado College and helped start Lacrosse there in 1964, I think it was, as a player. In Denmark, I helped to start lacrosse at age 60 as a player coach.
It’s nice to see lacrosse has come so far in Southboro and all over the world since I started with Dr. Avis’ first team back in 1954.
