We lost power this morning for about 30 minutes. Afterwards, when I was poking around National Grid’s website, I came across their storm center. It shows you a list of all known outages in their service area.
At the time of this post, there are nearly 1,400 customers in Worcester County who are without power, significantly higher than any other Mass. county (wind perhaps?). None of the outages are in Southborough. The site also tells you when service is expected to be restored.
Of course, unless you have a laptop or other battery-powered device, you’re going to need electricity to get to the website in the first place. Oh, the irony.
