Mark your calendars and book your babysitters. The Southborough Fire Ball, a fundraiser for a new aerial ladder truck for the Southborough Fire Department, will be held on Saturday, March 7th at the Best Western Royal Plaza in Marlborough. There will be cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and dancing.
Tickets are $100 per person. All proceeds go toward the purchase of a new aerial ladder truck. Southborough’s current ladder truck was permanently removed from service a year ago due to a combination of mechanical problems, age, and other factors.
For those of you who really want to party it up, a special $99 room rate (includes breakfast) has been negotiated with the Best Western for the evening of the event.
