Woodward kids have been big on multimedia lately with a rash of new videos posted to the Woodfin Podbean site in recent weeks.
In one series of videos, Woodward second and third graders review books in the running for the 2009 Wood-Award. The students considered over 50 books published in 2008 and voted for the one they felt had the best illustrations and story. The 2009 Wood-Award winner was Swing! by Rufus Butler Seder.
In another series, students share what they learned about “famous and not-so-famous” inventors and inventions.
It’s all pretty adorable. Check it out on the Woodfin Podbean site.
