Latest fire logs and police logs … sort of

I’ve posted the latest logs from the fire department for your perusal.

Some of you asked if I could post the police logs, as well. I looked into it, and while technically I could do it, there’s one problem: I’m lazy.

Each week the fire department kindly emails me their logs, so there’s absolutely no legwork involved for me to post them. Just a bit of formatting touch up and voila! they’re ready to go.

Alas, the police department does not distribute its logs electronically. So, I’d have to hoof it down to the police station, flip through a clipboard full of dot-matrix (!) printouts, interpret the cryptic codes, and transcribe anything of interest. That’s a lot of work, people. And while I’d love to cater to your every whim, I’ve got a day job to hold down.

But, don’t despair. You can view the police logs on Wicked Local Southborough (aka the Southborough Villager). They’re not completely current, but it’s better than nothing. Here’s the most recent log for the week of Feb. 11-17.
