Here’s your list of meetings for the week. Of note is a public meeting at the Planning Board on Monday night about the project to bury utility lines along Main Street. And on Tuesday, selectmen will interview four candidates for the position of building inspector.
Also interesting on the selectmen’s agenda is an item at 9:15 pm simply titled “Lakefront Properties Inc.” A little Internet sleuthing turned up a recent article in the Gloucester Daily Times that reports selectmen in Essex approved a request by a Lakefront Properties Inc to film portions of an Adam Sandler movie in their town. Combine that with the recent report from the Boston Herald that site scouts were poking around Southborough for an upcoming Sandler flix, and you have to wonder if we might be in for some celebrity sightings in town this summer.
