The Metrowest Daily News has more details on Monday’s musical tribute for Dennis Wrenn, the Algonquin music director who died last month on a school trip to Greece. The tribute will feature performances by students, alumni, colleagues, and friends.
The tribute will be held at Mechanics Hall in Worcester and is free, but organizers recommended getting tickets by mail in advance. It’s too late for that now, but don’t let that stop you from going. Susan Faccenda Peghiny of the Northborough-Southborough Music Association says they still have 300 tickets left, so you should be able to get them at the door.
The tribute starts on Monday at 5:00 pm. Doors open at 4:30 pm.
And if you plan on going, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with these lyrics for the closing sing-along.
