National Grid wants to cut down 37 trees and prune another six to provide more clearance for power lines in town. The affected trees are on Northboro, Parkerville, and Cordaville Roads. Trees desginated for removal have been posted with a notice of intent. Ones designated for pruning are marked with small blue ribbons.
If you have questions or comments about the plan, there’s a public hearing next week on April 14 at 10:00 am at the DPW office (next to the Transfer Station).
