Members of the Northborough-Southborough Regional School Committee will have a lot to grapple with next year, not the least of which is the hotly contested issue of how to divide the Algonquin mortgage payment between the two towns.
There are two Southborough seats on the committee open this year, and three candidates vying for them, making the regional school committee race the only contested one in next week’s election.
The Community Advocate recently published statements from each of the three candidates. All have children in the public school system, and all have lived in Southborough for a minimum of 14 years. Susan Dargan and Kathleen Harragan currently serve on the Southborough School Committee. The third candidate, David Rueger, is running as a first-timer.

Hi. I went to grammar school with Ms. Harragan back in NY. My sister Laurie was her best friend. She would love to get back in touch. Please give Ms. Harragan my email address & ask her to get in touch with me.
Thank you very much!
