The latest in a series of public workshops related to the zoning by-law review project will be held this week. And this time the topic is Route 9.
There’s no question about it — Route 9 is our bread and butter. The businesses along the corridor contribute a significant amount to the town’s tax base, and the Metrowest Growth Management Committee recently reported that Southborough has the capacity to increase development along Route 9 by a whopping 460%.
But what should that development look like? Retail? Office parks? Multi-family housing?
Bring your ideas to the Route 9 Public Workshop on Wednesday night in the Town House Hearing Room (2nd floor). The meeting starts at 7:00 pm. And if it’s anything like the last public workshop, there will be cookies!
