Algonquin sophomore Lauren Yung wrote to tell me about a four-day volleyball clinic being held in July for girls entering grades 7 through 10. Here’s what she had to say about the program:
The clinic is open to girls of all skill levels and experience. As any T-Hawk will tell you, the best thing about Algonquin are the various activities and open community, and it is our hope that this clinic will not just teach girls fundamental volleyball skills, but will also introduce them to that community. We also hope that this clinic will give girls an opportunity to build friendships with future classmates that will last through and (most commonly) beyond their high school years.
You can find more details and a registration form here. If you sign up by June 12, the cost is $50. After that it goes up to $65. Proceeds benefit the ARHS Volleyball Boosters Club.
