On a sunny Saturday earlier this month, a local junior Girl Scout troop spent their time collecting smiles and donations to pass on to area foster kids.
For Project Smile, Junior Girl Scout Troop 77103 collected donations from residents who visited the transfer station. The donations were used to buy personal care items for the Department of Children and Families (DCF) in Worcester to give to children when they are placed in foster care.
