The Metrowest Daily News has a nice story about Southborough couple Shama and Mohan Nannapaneni who founded a nonprofit that supplies tools for education here and abroad.
Each year the organization gives out hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies to local children in need. They fill the backpacks in the garage of their Southborough home. The couple has also helped build schools in their native India.
“I believe what I have today is because of education,” Nannapaneni said. “If we provide the right education and right direction we will all be having decent lives.”
