For the second time this week, flags in Southborough and across the state are at half staff. Today it is in honor of 21-year-old Corporal Nicholas Xiarhos of Yarmouth who was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on July 23, 2009.
Corporal Xiarhos, whose father is a lieutenant with the Yarmouth Police Department, will be laid to rest today at the Bourne Veteran’s Cemetery.
