Apparently scarecrows are all the rage this year in Southborough. There are two separate scarecrow displays/contests planned this fall, one at the Beals’ Preservation Celebration in September and another sponsored by the Southborough Gardeners that will coincide with Heritage Day in October.
Participate in both and it’s more bang for your scarecrow buck. Here are the details:
Scarecrow Gathering
When: September 27, 2009, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Beals’ Preservation off Main Street across from Chestnut Hill Road

Scarecrows Come to Town
When: October 10 – 17 (Heritage Day is October 11)
Where: Community House lawn
