Southborough unemployment rate for August shows slight decline

After reaching its highest point in 17 years, the unemployment rate in Southborough ticked down slightly in August to 6.5%. The July rate was 6.8%.

State and national numbers held relatively steady at 8.9% and 9.6%, respectively.
