Heritage Day is less than two weeks away. The event this year features some of the same things you look forward to every year, plus a few new ones. Here’s the schedule.
Saturday, October 10
- 3:00 – 5:00 pm Scarecrow contest drop off at Community House. Winner will be announced October 12. Scarecrows will be on display through October 17.
Sunday, October 11
- 9:00 am Registration opens for Heritage Day Road Race (Neary School)
- 10:00 am Heritage Day Road Race begins
- 2:00 – 6:00 pm Historical Society Museum Open House
- 4:30 – 6:30 pm Light Up Southborough pumpkin drop-off in front of library
- 7:00 – 8:30 pm Pumpkin lighting and viewing on Common St.
Monday, October 12
- 7:00 – 9:30 am Vendor set-up, St. Marks Field (Routes 30 and 85)
- 9:30 am Vendors open
- 9:30 am Parade line-up at St. Anne’s Church
- 10:00 am Annual Heritage Day Parade begins
- 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Friends of the Library book sale (Southborough Library)
- 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Fire Department open house
- 11:30 am – 2:00 pm Luncheon at the Community House
- 11:30 pm Life Flight helicopter lands on St. Marks Field
- 2:30 pm Third Annual Pie Eating Contest (sign up at the gazebo)
- 3:30 pm Vendors close & clean up
Hi! I am hoping you can help me. I am a vendor, I make and sell doll clothes,children’s clothes, baby blankets and more. I just found out about Southborough day and was wondering A. is it too late to register B. How much is a space C. do you already have people selling doll clothes D. How do I get a registration form?
