Halloween decorations are popping up all over town. This Harry Potter-themed display on Parkerville Road south of Route 9 is one of my favorites (thanks for the tip, Sue!). If you’ve created a great display, or see one around town, send me photos.
There are a number of opportunities for Halloween fun leading up to the main trick-or-treating event on the 31st. Here’s a round-up.
Sunday, October 25
Southborough Firefighters Association Annual Halloween Parade
The parade starts at 4:00 pm. Line up in front of Mauro’s Market. The parade ends at the Fire Station where prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
Friday, October 30
Southborough Youth and Family Services Halloween Party
7:00 to 8:30 pm, Finn School Cafeteria
The party features games, crafts, face paining, and treats. And, of course, costumes are encouraged. You can get more details in the event flyer (.pdf).
Saturday, October 31
Trick or Treating at the Southborough Library Children’s Room
10:00 am to 5:00 pm
