Southborough resident Dan O’Rourke had two things in common with Cpl. Nicholas Xiarhos who died in Afghanistan earlier this summer: they both played football at Dennis-Yarmouth High School, and they both wore jersey #64.
O’Rourke donned his #64 jersey at a tribute service to the fallen marine last weekend at Dennis-Yarmouth High School, where the number was retired in honor of Xiarhos.
