The Interboro Community Band will hold a holiday concert at Trottier on December 18. The band, formerly under the direction of the late Dennis Wrenn, is a collection of about 50 musicians who hail from all of the Boros, along with other communities. They range in age from high school students through seniors. The band is led by Trottier music director Jamie Clark.
The concert on December 18 starts at 7:00 pm. There is no admission fee, but donations are appreciated. More details, including the program, are in the event flyer (pdf).
The community band program is run by the Southborough Recreation Department. There two sessions, September through January and February through April. Cost is $40 per session. The band rehearses on Monday nights at 7:30 pm at Trottier. If you’re interested in joining, call the Recreation Office at 508-229-4452 or go to their registration website.
