Local company collects toys to make kids ‘smile’

Instead of a big holiday party this year, Southborough’s Compass Income Planning decided to celebrate with a smaller affair, and one that put an emphasis on giving.

The company held a holiday brunch for clients and friends last weekend, and they asked everyone to bring an unwrapped toy for the Southborough-based charity Smiling Kids, an organization that gives birthday gifts to local kids in need.

The company collected over 50 gifts along with cash donations for Smiling Kids. Definitely something to smile about.

What a great idea! Smiling Kids is a wonderful organization. Kudos to Compass for helping out the kids this holiday season.
