If you do your grocery shopping at Stop & Shop, you could be earning money for the Southborough schools every time you make a purchase using your Stop & Shop Card.
It’s through a program called A+ Bonus Bucks. All you have to do is register your Stop & Shop Card, and each time you use it, the schools will earn Bonus Bucks. Stop & Shop gives away about $300K each month, and the number of Bonus Bucks a school has determines how much of the pie the school gets.
The program runs through March 25, 2010.
Thanks for the info, Susan! I did not know about this program and was happy to sign up for it.
Does anyone know how these funds are proposed to be used by the Southborough public school system? I’d be interested to know.
Excellent question, Heather. I posted the answer here: https://mysouthborough.com/2010/01/06/good-question-where-do-those-bonus-bucks-go/
