The forecast says we’re in for a bit of a warm up over the next few days, but this is New England, so you know it’s not going to last. Every winter there are families in our area that need coats to keep warm.
The Southborough Organization for Schools is coordinating a used coat drive to benefit Marlborough Community Services, Inc. MCSI is a not-for-profit organization that provides social services and wellness programs to families in our area, including families in Southborough. One of the things they do is provide warm clothing to families in need.
You can drop off gently-used adult or children’s coats in the lobby of each of the four schools until March 1. Parent volunteers from Finn, Woodward and Neary will deliver them to Marlborough Community Services.
