It is nothing but wet and sloppy outside today, and the National Weather Service has issued both wind and flood advisories for our area.
A flash flood warning is in effect until 7:00 pm tonight, with a forecast of one to three inches of rain, and a wind advisory is in effect until 6:00 pm tonight. As you’re driving about town, watch out for flooding along the sides of the roads and falling branches, pine cones, and the like.
For me, it’s time to go check that basement sump pump.
