The flakes haven’t even started to fall, but already the nor’easter predicted for tomorrow has claimed its first casualty. A public forum on Southborough’s villages sponsored by the Zoning Advisory Committee was to be held tomorrow night, but due to the impending storm, it has been rescheduled to February 24.
Zoning changes being proposed for the downtown area, as well as for Southborough’s other villages, have some residents pretty concerned. It was those proposed changes that were to be reviewed at the public forum. I’ll share more about the issue prior to the February 24 meeting.
No word yet on whether the school committee meeting on Wednesday night will also be rescheduled. The school committee is scheduled to vote on the fiscal year 2011 school budget at that meeting. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear anything.
