Sunday is the 41st annual Boy Scout Troop 1 Pancake Breakfast. This is truly one of my favorite scout fundraisers. I mean, all-you-can-eat pancakes. What’s better than that?
The breakfast will take place at the Neary School cafeteria on Sunday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. There will be plenty of pancakes, along with sausage and ham, coffee, tea, milk, and OJ. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and children ages 6-12. Kids 5 and under are free.
The pancake breakfast is the troop’s primary fundraiser. Proceeds help support scout activities and service projects throughout the year. The money will also go toward the troop’s trip to Alaska in the summer of 2011.
I, for one, know where I’ll be on Sunday morning.
