Assabet culinary arts instructor Cliff Giovannucci was killed in a motorcycle crash in Sutton on Saturday. He was 48.
“He was just a one-of-a-kind guy,” Assabet Valley Principal Mark Hollick said yesterday.
Giovannucci, a 1979 graduate of Assabet Valley, was a food service manager at the school from 1999 until 2003, when he became the lead teacher in the culinary arts department, Superintendent-Director Mary Jo Nawrocki said yesterday.
“You never saw Cliff when he wasn’t happy or smiling,” she said. “If you ever needed something – it was no problem.”
Grief counselors will be available at the school all week. Read more in the Metrowest Daily News.
