The New England Center for Children will hold its fourth annual 5K Walk/Run for Autism on Saturday, and some roads in the downtown area will be closed to accommodate the runners.
The race starts on St. Mark’s Street next to Pilgrim Church at 10:00 am. The route follows Main Street, Deerfoot Road, Clifford Street, Parkerville Road, John Matthews Road, and returns up Middle Road to the church. Expect closures on each of those roads during the race, with the biggest impact on Main Street. Traffic traveling eastbound on Main Street will be detoured onto Sears Road.
I got two autodial calls from the SPD warning about traffic due to this 10:00am-1:00pm event.
The calls came Saturday at 6:15pm and 8:15pm, five and seven hours, respectly, after the event concluded.

I got the same thing. Perhaps someone is in another time zone….or even the Twilight Zone…..;-)
Us too, while making dinner for and bathing small children. I wouldn’t have picked up the phone but that I was expecting a call. Annoying!
ditto and we got another at 8:45pm and what was irking was that i finally decided to turn the ringer off on the phones thinking that i did not want to listen to it calling all night.
