Polls in Southborough opened today at 8:00 am and will stay open until 8:00 pm. With all the interest in the races this year, I’m hoping for a good turnout. Last year the turnout for town elections was a dismal 6%. Surely we can do better this year.
For information on where to vote and who’s on the ballot, see this post. I’ll bring you the results as soon as I have them, so check back later tonight after the polls close.
Proud to be one of the 6 percenters, although I’m waiting until after work to vote. I’m guessing the tally at my precinct will will be >100, but less than <200. While I wish more people would vote, if they don't know what's going on, I'd rather they not.
I’ve lived in Southborough for over 4 years and have to admit, that this was the first time I’ve voted in the town election. I just want to say THANK YOU for all the information you provide on this blog. Because of it, I was able to be an informed voter today for the first time.
good for you “first time voter”! No matter what type of election i vote in I always feel really good about being part of the process.
