The Northborough-Southborough Special Education Parents Advisory Council will host a presentation on what our schools do to promote successful inclusion. The talk will be held on Tuesday, May 25 at Algonquin.
Inclusion Specialist Marie Alan and Autism Specialist Jennifer Ostroff will discuss various academic, social and behavioral strategies that have been found to be successful inclusion practices used in the Northborough/Southborough school district. Topics to be addressed include emotional regulation, self-monitoring, increasing independent work completion, and modifying activities in the areas of language arts, reading, and mathematics.
