It’s supposed to come close to 90 degrees today — definitely feeling like summer. In honor of the weather, this week I’m going to feature a number of summer camp options for the kids. First up is Sizzling Summer Scene sponsored by Southborough Youth and Family Services. Here are the details.
Sizzling Summer Scene
Sponsored by Southborough Youth and Family Services
Ages: Kids entering grades 6-9
Location: Fayville Village Hall (42 Central Street), plus field trips
Dates: Session 1: July 12-23; Session 2: July 26-August 6; Session 3: August 9-20
Times: Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays 9:30 am to 12:30 pm; Tuesday and Thursdays 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Cost: $300 per session (scholarships available)
Activities: Indoor/outdoor games, arts and crafts, plus twice-weekly field trips to places like Southwick’s Zoo, Fenway Park, Old Sturbridge Village, and Canobie Lake Park.
