The folks at Assabet sent along this notice for all you golfers out there:
For the sixteenth season, the AV Booster Club is sponsoring a golf tournament to benefit the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School athletic programs. The event will be the Pine Ridge Country Club in Oxford, MA, on Saturday, June 19, 2010. The format will be Florida Style, with a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. Entry fee is $125, which includes 18 holes and a cart. There will be a dinner buffet, an auction, prizes, raffles, and lots of fun contests with first, second and third place winners.
The AV Boosters Club funds annual awards, scholarships, and summer sports programs. Registrations must be paid in advance, and checks, cash, or credit cards are accepted. To obtain a registration form, contact Terry Riley, the Tournament Director, at 508-485-9430, ext. 1412. You may sign up as a foursome or individually, and you will be paired with others. All registrations must be paid in full by June 1.
Space is limited, and only the first 144 PAID golfers will be scheduled to play.
The Boosters Club is also seeking sponsors for the tournament, withi a Green sponsor and Tee sponsor valued at $100, and a Cart sponsor set at $300. They are also accepting donations of cash or prizes for the auction and raffle.
All contributions are tax deductible, in accordance with IRS stipulations.
