It’s a big weekend for Southborough seniors. Members of the class of 2010 will walk across the stage at Algonquin on Sunday to collect their diplomas. The ceremony begins at 2:00 pm in the gym.
And tonight, two students from Southborough — Adam Dossett and Patrick Monroe — will get their diplomas from Assabet.
If this year is anything like last year, the vast majority of Southborough grads will head off to college in the fall, and for many of them that will mean saying goodbye to Southborough, at least for now. What lessons from our town do you hope the grads carry with them as they go? What advice would you give them?
Be true to yourselves, follow your gut instincts, and dance whenever possible!!
Don’t bother hustling in the private sector trying to build a strong business. That’s outdated. Get a government job instead. Better pay, better benefits, and you can’t be fired unless you’ve got a trunkful of dead bodies!
