Southborough Fire Chief John Mauro Jr. just informed me that a 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck outside of Ottawa, Canada today at 1:41 pm. Effects were reported as far away — and as close to us — as Framingham. More on the earthquake in the Boston Globe.

Not a thing, on the Southborough eastern edge/Framingham border. I do have earthquake insurance tho, good thing!
