A My Southborough reader sent in this report of the end-of-year celebration for the girls youth lacrosse league:
The Northborough – Southborough Girls Lacrosse End of Year party was held June 7 at the Pavilion of Neary School in Southborough. The girls from grades 3-8 celebrated another great year of fun and success and growth. John Healy took over as President this past year and did a terrific job of managing what turned out to be a tremendous amount of work. NSGL was able to field 2 and 3 teams per division this year in U11, U13 and U15 age groups. Two girls, Lindsay Fuce and Noelle Gauthier received the “Lifer” recognition for playing consecutive years from 3-8 without stop. Good luck at ARHS next year and good luck to all in the years to come.
