Summit Montessori School is dedicated to developing life-long learners from preschool through grade six. Located in Framingham, Summit draws students from Southborough and other surrounding communities. They offer children and their families a warm and nurturing educational environment, one that encourages a child’s natural curiosity and celebrates his or her accomplishments.
Summit’s faculty represents some of the most dedicated, talented educators in New England. Summit selects each teacher based on his or her Montessori training, experience, and fit with the philosophy of the school. They incorporate both modern and traditional teaching methods in our curricula while remaining grounded in the tenets of Maria Montessori.
Summit was founded in 1996 by a group of Metrowest parents and now educates up to 100 students each year. The school resides in an historic, Victorian building that was converted for educational purposes when Summit was founded.
“This school is an absolute gem,” Southborough mom Kate Poitras, who has two kids at Summit, said. “The teachers and staff are dedicated, nurturing and supportive. The children are encouraged and challenged and as a result are confident and self-directed learners. My two children, both very different from one another, are happy and thriving. Our family loves Summit!”
