The Gulbankian family went before the Zoning Board of Appeals last night seeking to resume operation of their machine shop. The Metrowest Daily News has this report:
The Gulbankian family is allowed to return to conducting work inside their machine shop – for now.
The Zoning Board of Appeals last night overturned cease-and-desist orders that Building Inspector Dave Gusmini started issuing in June to the Gulbankians, who also run a flower shop and park Marlborough school buses on their Mt. Vickery Road Property.
“I don’t want to disrespect the building inspector but I think it’s difficult to stop these folks (the Gulbankians) from carrying on with their work,” ZBA member Edward Estella said at last night’s meeting. “If I was losing work for the last six weeks I’d also be upset.”
