We did a bit of sign language with our little one when she was an infant (the fact that her favorite sign was “more” was an indication of things to come), but I wish we had done even more. If you want to learn about using sign language with your infant, the Southborough Library has the program for you.
Southborough resident Sheryl White will hold a workshop for parents and their babies (age 2 months to pre-verbal) on Baby Sign Language. This will include practice using sign language and teaching American Sign Language to a child. Please register in the Childrens Room. Sheryl White is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.
Sign up at the Childrens Room desk or call the Library at 508-485-5031.
