In August, Southborough’s unemployment rate hit a 15-month low. In September, things stayed just about the same.
The unemployment rate in Southborough in September was 6.4%, compared to 6.3% in August. Statewide the unemployment rate dropped slightly from 8.3% in August to 8.0% in September. Nationally, the rate dipped to 9.2% from 9.5% the previous month.
