I’m happy to report Algonquin football pulled of its first win of the season on Friday night. They bested South High School of Worcester by a score of 34-26. That should give them some nice momentum as they head into their homecoming game against Fitchburg this coming Friday.
Unfortunately, the results from Assabet’s game against Groton-Dunstable last Friday weren’t as good. They lost by a score of 28-42.
