Southborough’s emergency response groups — the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) — are looking for volunteers, and they’re holding an open house next week to help residents learn more about what they do.
CERT/MRC support local public safety and health organizations in a number of ways. They’re called upon for the unplanned, like traffic control for major road accidents, as well as the planned, like first aid at Summer Nights and Heritage Day, among other activities.
You can learn more by attending their open house on Monday, November 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Fire Station. Here’s their flyer with all the info.
