Here’s another chance to do some local holiday shopping this weekend:
For anyone ready to do some holiday shopping for unique hand-crafted items in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the mall crowds, the Assabet Valley Athletic Booster Club’s Indoor Craft Fair is definitely the place to be on Saturday, December 11. The Craft Fair runs from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, and is conveniently located in the main cafeteria and hallway at the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School at 215 Fitchburg Street.
What a great time to find that extraordinary gift for the person who has everything, or stock up on some one of a kind items to have on hand when surprised by a birthday at the office. From lovely crocheted afghans to silk scarves, doll clothes to hand-made sweaters and blankets, picture frames and photographs to oil paintings, and, of course, homemade jams and jellies, or baked goods, the craft fair promises to offer a little something for everyone.
Admission is only $2 per person, and there will be a concession stand run by the Booster Club. All proceeds go to providing more for the athletes at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School.
